PROGRAM News- Bios needed, Congrats Ads DUE FRIDAY

Dear Secret Garden Families, On behalf of the program committee, I have excellent news… we are getting close to our program ad sales goal!  As of today, we are only 15 ads shy of getting headshots, actor/actress/crew bios, AND a color cover!   It would be such a shame to be this close to our goal and not make it.  Will you please help?  We need you to think of friends, business owners, and places you frequent, and ask them to support our youth in the arts by placing an ad in our program.  For your convenience, the AD CONTRACT is attached for you to easily print and fill out.  Thank you to everyone who has sold and submitted an ad so far, and thanks in advance to everyone else for the extra effort this week towards achieving your goal of selling one Ad.  You can do it!  And as always, please email your questions to m.givvines@cytvanport.org ~ Melissa ALL Cast and Crew members should fill out this form before FRIDAY, MAY 6th: Program BI...

Message from our DIRECTOR:

Dear cast and crew; WOW!  What a great job for our first "stumble through" of Act 1.  I could see everything coming together.  We still have a lot of hard work to do to get the rough edges off of some scenes, but it looks like we're going to have a fun show for our audience to watch and one for which we can give  God the glory . Remember to practice for next weeks scenes, memorize your parts and come ready to jump into Act 2.   I can't wait to see what you guys do with that!  Try to get there a little early so you can join in the worship time.   See you Friday, Mrs. R.

Show Buddy Information Coming HOME Today...

The SHOW BUDDY List is located on the Secret Garden Cast-Crew List   Here's the paper we're sending home: SHOW BUDDIES: Each of your children were assigned show buddies this morning. Show siblings are assigned by me to help encourage older and younger cast members to build relationships. They also serve as FIRE buddies during rehearsals and at the theater. Dear______________________,   your show buddies are   __________________________________________________________. This is an opportunity for you and your older/younger buddies to be an encouragement and helper to each other. Please do not let this just be a gift giving activity, but let it be a friendship full of encouragement and fun. Little notes or gifts and friendly words each time you see each other are strongly encouraged. Slip them an encouraging note or put together a little package with their favorite candies or other goodies in it. Maybe you could sit by each other after rehearsals whe...

Costume NEEDS

I am wondering if anyone has a Smoking Jacket available that we could use for the show, for Mr. Craven?  We need a burgundy, black, or dark grey color.  Janet Dearing said she might, but I thought I would ask around just in case. Also, we could use a solid color (preferably a blue, white, or grey) cotton or linen type men's robe.  Preferably a Medium/Large child's size or a Small men's size.  If anyone has one they could loan to outfit Colin Craven, we would appreciate it! Thanks! -- Stacie
