Make-Up Guidelines

1. Always start with a clean face covered with a light facial moisturizer.
2. Apply foundation (base) make-up with a sponge or fingertips, blending into hairline and down under chin(including eyelids).
3. Apply highlight on eyelids up to brows.
4. Apply character shadow as blocking in the crease of the eye, along sides of nose & just under cheekbones in a modified “T”.
5. Apply blush from midpoint of eye toward temple on the “apple” of the cheek.
6. Powder entire face and jawline.
7. Apply eyeliner from the outside corner of the eye, on top and bottom, ½ to ¾ of the way in. Apply mascara; make sure to blush out any clumps.
8. Apply appropriate color (not black) to eyebrows in order to define.
9. Apply lip color. If drawing with pencil first, or using a tube type lipstick, start at the outer corners and apply towards the center of the lips.
10. Keep all pencils sharpened.

To clean off your make-up supplies, gently wipe cream and brushes with a baby wipe; powders with a tissue. Recap and store supplies in your box, not on the dressing tables.

At home wash your face thoroughly with cleanser and water to reduce chances of breakouts. Reserve old washcloths & towels for this task. Don’t use the guest towels!

* All cast members need to bring their own make-up, mascara, and hair brushes. Please label each item with your name. This is very important for hygiene reasons. “Just Say No” when asked to lend these items!

Program Ads UPDATE

Hi Secret Garden Family, Please allow me to remind everyone about program ads.  We need to get these in very soon!  As we stand right now, we have met the requirement to get the individual bios into the program, but we need to sell ten more ads to get the individual headshots and the color program cover.  We have five days left…  If every family sets their mind to selling just one ad, we will not only have a wonderful show keepsake, but we will also raise funds for our local program.  I know you can do it!   If I can help in any way or if you need additional information, please email me at m.givvines@cytvanport.org .  There will be program ad forms at classes Thursday night near the magic box for anyone who needs a few.  Please note that ads and payment must be in no later than May 9th . Thank you, Melissa Givvines Program Chair

Late Pick Up Fee Policy

CYT has a policy that parents must pay a "late fee" when they are not on time to pick up their kids after auditions, callbacks, rehearsals or shows. That fee is $10.00 for every 15 minutes a parent is late. When a parent is late a staff person must stay and wait with the student(s) until a parent arrives. The late payment is paid directly to the person who waits with the student(s) for parent pick up.
